Fatima Isse is a London-based writer, director, and producer from North London, England. She holds an MA in Film Directing with Distinction and works primarily in independent film.
Her work is inspired by folklore, mythology, horror, suspense, and psychological storytelling. Her films use suspense and emotional storytelling, but always with a deeper meaning that audiences can connect with and take away.
Following her graduation, Fatima relaunched and rebranded her production company, River Lake Studios, which develops original short films, feature-length projects, and theatrical work, including its debut musical.
Fatima is passionate about developing engaging stories and bringing them to life through collaboration. Alongside her work in film, she is exploring storytelling through theatre and developing projects for the stage.
