Charles Schemm is a bilingual producer and filmmaker with over five years of experience in scripted and digital content production. He specializes in vertical storytelling for mobile-first platforms and holds an MFA in Film and Television Production from Chapman University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Yuan Ze University. He blends creative insight with technical precision.
Charles has produced over ten vertical series for platforms including Drama Box, Vigloo, and SnackShort. He was a producer at Unreal Imagine, managing scheduling, budgeting, casting, and cross-functional workflows for multiple serialized projects each month. His work is rooted in a passion for emotionally resonant storytelling, often exploring love, identity, and transformation themes.
Beginning his career directing music videos for underground hip-hop artists in Taiwan, Charles developed a deep connection to youth-driven creative culture. He is fluent in Mandarin and English and has additional experience in marketing, branded content, and artist collaboration through his work with Red Bull and the PGA.
