Jonathan Lambert is a Dublin-based director and Director of Photography known for his work in music videos, television, and branded content. He began making short films in Coolock and won the Fresh Film Festival in 2004, prompting his studies in film production. In the early 2010s, he directed influential music videos for Irish Hip Hop artists and musicians Damien Dempsey, The Original Rudeboys and Shane Filan.
He gained experience in entertainment as a shooter director for RTE's TwoTube and the comedy series Apres Match. Jonathan then focused on documentary and factual formats for RTE, Virgin Media, and TG4. Recent projects include traveling to Gambia for The Hardest Harvest and directing The Irish Book of the Year.
Over the past six years, he has worked with RTE Player directing original shows such as Relove My Space, Agony OAPs and Love is in the Air, and branded content for companies such as Granby, Baileys, Dunnes Stores and Chadwicks. He also directed the chat series 'Come Fry With Me' and viral spoken word pieces with actor and writer Joe McGucken.
This year, Jonathan made his narrative directing debut with the short film 'Hometime,' marking a transition into narrative filmmaking.
