Simon Bevington

Simon Bevington is a motion-picture Armourer with over six years of on-set experience across New Zealand and internationally. He works with a wide range of weapons, from period and traditional arms to modern military systems. Simon regularly trains actors, stunt performers, and background cast in safe weapons handling and on-set protocols for a variety of firearms and edged weapons used in film and television. He also provides risk and security assessments to ensure safe and realistic productions. Before entering the screen industry, Simon served for decades as a military armourer, EOD operator, and shooting coach - experience that continues to shape his precision, safety standards, and technical expertise on set. He is available for feature films, television dramas, and specialised armoury consultancy projects worldwide.
