Robert Buck was born on August 1, 1958 in Jamestown, New York, USA. He was an actor and composer, known for Bringing Out the Dead (1999), Cheaper by the Dozen (2003) and Cold Case (2003). He was married to Terry Newhouse. He died on December 19, 2000 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.

Co-wrote many 10,000 Maniacs' hits with Natalie Merchant

Played with the band League of Blind Women (1998-1999), writing most of the music to their songs.
