Biography

Natacha Atlas was born on March 20, 1964 in Brussels, Belgium. She is an actress and composer, known for Hulk (2003), Kingdom of Heaven (2005) and Die Another Day (2002). She has been married to Abdullah Chhadeh since 1999.

Her parents divorced when she was little and moved with her mother to Northampton, England where she was later sent to boarding school in Sussex.

Is one of Middle East's most accomplished singer/songwriter.

Mother is English and father is part-Jewish part-Muslim of Moroccan/Egyptian ethnic background.

Contributed vocals to the Indigo Girls song "Faye Tucker" on thier album Come On Now Social.

Released her sixth solo album "Something Dangerous (Mantra 2003)".

English is the language I grew up with, and it's the language I am more comfortable talking in. But I am more comfortable singing in Arabic. I am much more comfortable in Arabic now, especially after I went back to live in Egypt for a year.
