Originally from Wilmington, North Carolina, John Hall began his journey in the entertainment industry with hands-on training at Full Sail Real World Education in Orlando, Florida. Launching his career on the East Coast, he honed his craft across a wide range of productions before relocating to Los Angeles, where he became a proud member of the Directors Guild of America.
Since then, John has built a distinguished career as an Assistant Director, working across every major studio lot in the Los Angeles area. His experience spans feature films, hit television series, and streaming originals, contributing to critically acclaimed and fan-favorite projects alike.
His film credits include Bright, Borat 2, and Maxxxine.
On the television side, John has lent his talents to numerous award-winning and high-profile series such as Without a Trace, The Mentalist, Pretty Little Liars, Santa Clarita Diet, AHS, 9-1-1, Dead to Me, True Story, and Criminal Minds.
