Hailian Yang

Graduating from high school in 1974, in the midst of China's Cultural
Revolution, she was one of the "educated youth" whose careers were
disrupted during that chaotic era. But she at last was able to start a
movie career, which lasted until the mid-1980s, when she migrated to
the United States. As of 2012 was living in the Silicon Valley region
of California, where she works in the computer industry and is active
in local theater.
