- A New York native, Lola graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. She spent a year at Carnegie Mellon University in The School of Drama Acting and Music Theater before she was cast as the leading role in Amazon Prime’s The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022), based on the New York Times bestselling trilogy by Jenny Han ('To All The Boys..'). She also stars in IFC’s Forbidden Fruits (2026) and Neon’s The Young People (2026).

- Her mother is of Chinese and Swedish descent and her father is of Eastern European descent. Her maternal grandmother is Swedish and her maternal grandfather is a Chinese immigrant from Ningbo. She is grateful having both connections of her Swedish and Chinese heritage.
