Biography

Marko Nabersnik is a Slovenian film and television director, screenwriter, and professor at the Academy for Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT) at the University of Ljubljana. He is best known for his debut feature Rooster’s Breakfast (2007), one of the most successful Slovenian films of all time, as well as Shanghai Gypsy (2012) and The Woods Are Still Green (2014). His films rank among Slovenia’s highest-grossing domestic releases, with Rooster’s Breakfast and Whites Wash at Ninety becoming the most-watched films in Slovenia upon their release. Alongside his directing career, he continues to teach and develop new projects
