Rayly Aquino is an actor, writer, and activist advocating for the disability and LGBTQ+ communities. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in the Bronx, New York, Aquino’s early life and cultural roots deeply inform his creative voice and storytelling.
He began his artistic journey through dance training at the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club on Randall’s Avenue in the Bronx, where he developed a strong foundation in performance and self-expression. His path later expanded into fashion, where he explored modeling and cultivated a distinct visual identity that continues to influence his multidisciplinary work.
Aquino has been featured in and starred in award-winning short films, including A Bronx Story (2021) and The Beauty of Being Deaf (2021), further establishing his presence as a compelling on-screen talent.
He is the founder of the NYC-based publication Rewired Blues and has built a dynamic career across film, media, and storytelling. As a creative, he is committed to producing meaningful, socially driven content that uplifts marginalized voices and fosters community.
