- Nikolaj Kirk is a professional chef and TV personality. His breakthrough on Danish TV came in 1996 when he became the regular chef on Good Morning Denmark (Go'morgen Danmark). A position he kept for 12 years until 2008. Nikolaj have been a food writer for several national papers. He trained as a chef at Hotel Imperial in Copenhagen and he's been head chef at several large danish restaurants.
Besides his appearance on Go'morgen Danmark Nikolaj have worked on Nak & Æd since 2010, a show that was awarded "DR TV-show of the year" in 2011 and "TV lifestyle show of the year" in 2012.
Nikolaj have been awarded several honors for his work and have published several books about cooking.

- In 1997 Nikolaj Kirk won a gold medal in the cooking world championship in the category "vegetarian cookery for young chefs".
- Nikolaj published a cook book in 2012 citing a Wikipedia article that Zittauer onions are named after Baron Zittauer von Schelpsburg - a fictitious person. The Wikipedia article later turned out to be a hoax.
