His mother, a psychologist and entrepreneur, and his father, a commercial manager, supported his early interest in the performing arts. He began acting as a child at La Casa del Teatro Nacional in Bogotá, where he trained throughout his adolescence.
Motivated by a passion for storytelling and performance, Nicolás moved to Los Angeles, California, where he earned a B.A. in Theatre Arts and Film Production from California State University, Long Beach. Bilingual in English and Spanish, he has worked across stage, film, and immersive theater, often gravitating toward characters with emotional complexity and cultural nuance.
In 2024, his original play Silencio earned a Special Mention at the Brisk Festival LA, affirming his voice as both an actor and writer. He continues to develop work that explores identity, vulnerability, and the intersection between authenticity and performance.
