James Farrell is a filmmaker known for his work on The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022), The Crown (2016) and The Witcher (2019). Farrell graduated from Westminster Film School with a degree in Filmmaking and trained in such capacities as spark and standby prop-hand alongside his work as a producer's assistant. His directorial work in the commercial sector includes The Mattress Man (2021) and All the Time in the World (2023) and he made his debut as a writer/director with Good Choice, Joseph (2024).
