Freddy Sheinfeld is a Venezuelan-born composer and music sound designer based in Los Angeles, with more than twenty years of experience across animation, video games, documentary, and film. Drawing from a diverse musical and cultural background, his work blends orchestral, electronic, and sound design influences across a career that has brought his music to hundreds of television episodes, films, documentaries, and interactive projects.
He is particularly known for his extensive work in animation, including the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, LEGO Star Wars Stories, and LEGO Disney Princess Stories. His career has also taken him into video games for Konami, David Attenborough's IMAX documentaries, Venezuelan cinema, museum installations, and live productions for rock bands such as Poison and Mr. Big.
Alongside his work as a composer, Freddy develops sampled instruments and sonic tools through Pulsesetter Sounds, combining composition, music sound design, and technology in his creative process.
His documentary credits include several of Sir David Attenborough's IMAX productions, including Galápagos 3D, Kingdom of Plants 3D, and Conquest of the Skies 3D, a Lumiere Award-winning and BAFTA-nominated production. His score for Kingdom of Plants 3D received the Best Documentary Score award at the International Film Music Festival and earned a nomination from the International Film Music Critics Association for Best Original Score for a Documentary Feature.
His feature film work includes the Goya-nominated Venezuelan drama Simón and La Hora Cero, the highest-grossing Venezuelan film of 2010. His music has also been featured in the permanent installations of the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles and New York.
A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Freddy continues to compose for film, television, games, documentaries, and immersive media from his studio in Los Angeles.
