- Carolina was born in 1979 in Naples. Her father is from Naples and her mother from Rome. She has a sister who is 5 years older and a younger brother. In 1980, she moved to Rome with her family and started taking ballet classes until she was 9 years old. After graduating from high school, she started university, majoring in Sociology (she still has 7 exams before graduating). During high school, she started enjoying music, going to concerts, photography and supporting Rome's soccer team. In order to pay concert tickets, she gave private lessons and animated children's parties. She also worked for an entertainment agency, mainly as an actress in the advertising area.
After an audition, she got to host children programs (Disney related) for the Italian State television RAI. After 4 years, she moved to MTV Italy, hosting the programs "Dance Floor Chart", "Hit List Italia" and "Hit List Italia +" and co-hosting "TRL" along with VJs Marco Maccarini and Giorgia Surina.

- Novenber 2007: Carolina is seven months pregnant with her and Pierluigi aka Pier Ferrantini (frontman of pop-rock group Velvet)'s first child. In the meantime, she's hosting the 2007-2008 season of Hitlist Italia on MTV.
