Aleksandr Galliamov
Aleksandr Galliamov is a Russian figure skater performing in pairs skating with Anastasia Mishina. Together they are Olympic bronze medalists in team competition (2022), Olympic bronze medalists in pair skating (2022), World champions (2021), European champions (2022), two-time Russian champions (2022, 2024).
Aleksander Galliamov began figure skating as a single skater in 2004. He trained in Yekaterinburg with coach Natalya Korelina. In 2009, for the sake of further success, he switched to pair skating and moved to St. Petersburg. His first partner was Aleksandra Polishchuk, with whom he skated in the 2015-2016 season. The following year, he paired up with Nika Osipova, with whom he also worked for one year.
In the 2017-2018 season, Aleksander paired up with Anastasia Mishina. They took their first steps together in February 2017. The athletes' coaches were Lyudmila and Nikolay Velikov. At the Junior World Championships in Bulgaria, the couple took third place. The next start for Mishina and Gallyamov was their first senior international tournament, Alpen Trophy 2018, where they won a gold medal. In March 2021, they won their debut world championship, held in Stockholm. In January 2022, the skaters performed at the European Championships held in Tallinn and became champions. At the 2022 Winter Olympics they became bronze medalists in pair skating.
