Mark Sawyer is an author, won an award for international on-line political analysis, and has completed professional-quality screenplays under the mentor-ship of Wally Lane, professional Screenwriting Teacher and the award-winning maker of "Winos and Pigeons."
Mark has filmed promotional and educational videos for Buddhist Temples in Thailand and for an orphanage and school in Northern India. He has also filmed interviews with monks and nuns in Thailand, and (especially) of Swami Atmananda Udasin from Ajatananda Ashram in Rishikesh, Northern India.
Mark has lived and traveled over most of western Europe, to virtually every country in east, southeast, and south-central Asia (From Japan and South Korea to Pakistan, with Thailand and India as favorites) , to "Hemingway country" in Africa, to aboriginal Australia, has lived winters in Alaska and Norway, and... In other words, he's lived a great life for a writer and filmmaker.
