- Josie Juliette Wert was born on August 18th, 2002 in Charlotte, NC. The born and raised North Carolinian attended Pine Lake Preparatory charter school where she found her love and passion for acting. Shortly after, she began training with local theater classes and eventually auditioning and participating in many local theater productions. She signed with her first talent agency in the summer of 2018, the summer in which she also had the privilege to train professionally in New York City with "Broadway Artist Alliance." Upon her return, she started auditioning and training in the TV/Film industry while also gracing the stages of various cities in and around the Charlotte, NC area. After graduating high school as both an AP scholar and honor roll student in 2020, Josie signed with JTA Talent Agency and soon landed her first television role in the TV mini series "No Rest for the Wicked." She trains with The Actors Lab in Charlotte, NC, where she is a working member.
Offscreen, Josie continues her creative pursuits. She is a trained singer and dancer with experience in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and musical theater. She works closely with local theater companies as a choreographer and runs/edits various social media platforms. She has written, directed, and self-produced films and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
