Halia Hirniak

Halia has been performing her entire life - first as a dancer, moving into choreography, and then into acting in her 40s. With many stage credits to her name in theatres across the Lower Mainland of British Columbia over the past 8 years, Halia decided to move into film and television in the past few years. To develop some insight and skills in this new medium, Halia has received acting training from Erin Boyes, Vic Zinck, Larry Moss, Jeb Beach, Scott Bromley, classes at the Actorium, in workshops with Michael Monks, and Edward Rea. Halia feels very fortunate to be represented by Natasha Trisko at Trisko Talent Management.
From Zoom films to commercials, and from student productions to Disney, Halia has had the privilege of exploring diverse roles in film in television since retiring from her beloved work as a teacher-librarian.
