Biography

The acting bug bit me when I was in high school in Tucson. But I was too shy to ever audition for a role, so I sat in the theater watching. After graduation, I gravitated into radio, where I could be an anonymous performer - a disembodied voice full of personality. It took me about 7 years to finally make it to Atlanta, a major market, the goal of any radio personality at the time. From there it was on to Chicago and Houston. But after 30 years, I was bored and ready to go back to my original passion - acting. This time in front of the camera. And now the journey that I've been waiting for my whole life has begun!

He was once offered the job as the touring stadium announcer for the Harlem Globetrotters. He had to turn it down because it meant months on the road with no free time. And the pay was horrible.

Dave has 205 skydives and was a licensed skydiver until he gave up the sport in 2016 after a broken ankle.
