Biography

Josephine Zeitlin is known for The Unwilling (2007), Child Psychology (2004) and SandCastles (2009).

Married to Denny Zeitlin (composer, jazz pianist, recording artist and psychiatrist) who scored director Philip Kaufman's 1978 remake "Invasion of the Body Snatchers." The 25th Anniversary CD of the soundtrack was released in 2003 and features an in-depth interview of the composer's reminiscences creating the score.

Auditioned on tape for the role of Betty McBain in "Life is Hot in Cracktown." Lara Flynn Boyle won the part.

Is featured photographically on the website "Silver: A State of Mind", a celebration of mature women who have embraced their silver hair.

Auditioned for the role of Doris Metzger in "The Savages," directed by Tamara Jenkins.
