Wanda Lewis was born on February 2, 1926 in Struthers, Ohio, USA. She was an actress, known for The Uncle Al Show (1950) and The Paul Dixon Show (1951). She was married to Al Lewis. She died on August 17, 2020 in Hillsboro, Ohio, USA.

With husband Al Lewis had local children's' TV show in Cincinnati, Ohio. "The Uncle Al Show" (sometimes listed as "The Uncle Al and Captain Windy Show" and/or "The Al & Wanda Lewis Show") ran from 1953 through the mid 80s. Locally, the show followed "Captain Kangaroo" for the whole 30 plus years it was on. It was such a local hit that ABC-TV picked it up for one season in 1958, showing it at 11:00 A.M. weekly on Saturday mornings. Now retired on a farm in Hillsboro, Ohio. Occasionally appears in reunion shows as Captain Windy.
