Cyril Descours was born on July 15, 1983 in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany. He is an actor and writer, known for Paris, Je T'aime (2006), 28 Years Later (2025) and A Quiet Place: Day One (2024).

Speaks fluently both German and French as his mother tongues.

He has been in a relationship with the Italian actress and former classical dancer Alessandra Martines since 2008. Martines is 20 years older than him.

Has both French and German nationality, since his mother is German whereas his father is French.

On October 26th, 2012, his girlfriend of four years Alessandra Martines gave birth to his first child, a boy called Hugo Descours.
