Teodor Bunimovich was born on 22 July 1908 in Tiflis, Tiflis Governorate, Russian Empire [now Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia]. He was a cinematographer and director, known for Moscow Strikes Back (1942), The Mystery of the Third Planet (1981) and Den pobedivshey strany (1948). He died on 29 March 2001 in Moscow, Russia.
