- Miriam Fulmekova was born on September 15, 1994 in Bratislava, Slovakia. She has always been interested in arts and film and in 2014 she began her screenwriting studies at Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VSMU). During her studies she wrote four of her own scripts, one of them feature length (Love Today, 2019). She also worked on numerous student films and later on, she wrote and directed her first short film Timeless (2018). In 2015, she attended a Film program at Falmouth University in the UK.
In March 2020, Miriam joined Lukas Vízner and Ester Víznerová in establishing Emedi productions. Their debut movie Bytost (2020) had a gala premiere in Bratislava in August 2020. Half a year later after the official premiere, the film Only human was selected and screened at almost thirty festivals worldwide. In most of them, the film earned podium positions, including several awards.
In February 2021, the second short film of Emedi productions The last one The last one (Posledná) (2021) was created and is currently in post-production.
