Manel Fuentes Muixí is a charismatic Spanish journalist, comedian, and television host, widely recognized as one of the most versatile and established figures in Spain's entertainment industry. With an extensive career spanning radio, television, and voice acting, his dynamic hosting style and sharp comedic timing have made him a staple of prime-time television. Fuentes graduated with a degree in Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and began his professional journey in radio during the mid 1990s. He skyrocketed to national fame after joining the legendary late-night show Crónicas Marcianas, where he stood out for his flawless and biting impressions of public figures. He later solidified his status as a star host at the helm of hit formats such as El club de la comedia and his own highly acclaimed late night talk show, La noche... con Fuentes y cía. Since 2011, Fuentes has been closely tied to the Antena 3 network as the master of ceremonies for the hit musical celebrity impersonation show Tu cara me suena (Your Face Sounds Familiar), one of the longest-running and most successful entertainment programs in Spanish television history. He has also hosted other high-profile game shows and international formats for the network, including The Floor and Atrapa un millón (The Money Drop). Beyond his hosting duties, Fuentes has developed a prominent career in film dubbing and voice acting for animated features. He has lent his distinctive voice to memorable big-screen characters for the Spanish market, most notably voicing Skipper the penguin in the Madagascar franchise, Nigel the pelican in Finding Nemo, and Rodrigo in the Spanish animated film El Cid: The Legend. He has also made cameo appearances in popular Spanish live action comedies like Torrente 2: Misión en Marbella and La tribu.
