- Nettie Chickering is a London-based American actor and singer. She received an MFA in Acting from the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
Her recent professional credits include Gerri Whittington in BBC Radio 4’s Central Intelligence (Goldhawk Productions) with . Kim Cattrall, Kelsey Grammer and David Duchovny. She also appears in the iHeart audio drama Underground Zero (Goldhawk/ Thoroughbred), alongside Michael Imperioli and Steve Schirripa. Her theatre credits include the title role of Othello with 60 Hour Shakespeare UK, Romeo & Juliet with Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Winter’s Tale with Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, and productions with Shakespeare & Company, Hub Theatre Boston, La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club and the Rubin Museum of Art.
Chickering is also a vocalist and musician, performing with the American Book Award-winning free jazz and poetry ensemble Heroes Are Gang Leaders and with Patti Smith.
