- Nick Pezzillo's editing career spans feature films, television and commercials. Recent films include 2022's Butcher's Crossing starring Nicolas Cage, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and Your Lucky Day starring Angus Cloud, which is set for release in 2023. Other features and shorts he has edited have been showcased at film festivals such as the Seattle International Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Festival, and Slamdance.
A graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle, Pezzillo started out as an unpaid PA on his first feature. As unlikely as it was, he ended up editing the film. Fast forward 20 plus years and he has worked in various facets of production and post-production, directing, art department, VFX, and editorial in all its forms.
Pezzillo's commercial editing work for clients such as DoorDash, Mercedes, Salesforce and Lamborghini has received numerous accolades including Clio Awards, Shorty Awards and Telly Awards, among others. He has also edited music videos for a wide range of artists including OneRepublic, Charlie XCX, Icona Pop, Elliphant, Korn, Tierra Whack, Portugal the Man, Andy Grammer, Spoon, John Bellion, Tov Lo, Trouble, King Krule, and Odesza.
Pezzillo resides in LA with his wife and kids.
