Chadrick Whitmire

Chadrick Whitmire is a Georgia based filmmaker living in a town named Flowery Branch. He started out as an actor and made the transition into writing while in acting school. His journey began in 2020 at The Actor's Scene school for acting. It was there he decided to make his first short film, Barnes Funeral Home. Chadrick went on to make a feature, Malcolm, in 2023. Since then he has written 4 feature films and a few short films. Chadrick Whitmire was born in Douglasville, Georgia to Robin Samples and David Whitmire Jr. He grew up between South Carolina and Georgia. He graduated from.high school in Blue Ridge Georgia in 2006. That was where he fell into high school theater as well as community theater at BRCT. Blue Ridge Community Theater will always hold a place in Chadrick's heart. He had always known that he wanted to be in the industry at a young age, but didn't pursue it until 2020 at age 32.
