Jake Vithana was born in Nottingham in 1994.
Jake studied Philosophy & Politics at the University of Essex but would regularly skip lectures to sit in on Film seminars. Since then, he has worked in HETV, commercials and on a number of short films as well as acting as dramaturg for a production set to open at Edinburgh Fringe 2023.
As of 2023, nine short films written by Jake have been produced. Two of which have gone on be nominated and win awards.
