Biography

Yashwanth Sardeshpande was born on June 23, 1963 in Ukkali, Karnataka, India. He was an actor and writer, known for Idya Madyar Nagalikke (2009), Marma (2002) and Shivappa Nayaka (2001). He was married to Malati Sardeshpande. He died on September 29, 2025 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Known for his comedy plays which he himself wrote and directed.

After completing an apprenticeship at Kirloskar in Harihar and a Diesel Mechanic course at KSRTC Depot, pursued his interest in theatre and joined Neenasam, Heggodu in 1985-86.

Studied at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 and New English School in Hubballi.
