Sergio Donato

Born in Calabria (Italy) in 1991, Sergio Donato graduated from the scientific high school in his hometown before moving to Rome in 2010 to continue his studies at Roma Tre University. He completed a degree in DAMS, specializing in Communication, Mass Media and Television, followed by a Master's degree in DAMS with a focus on Italian Cinema.
In 2017, he embarked on his career in the film industry in the costume department, contributing to the production of Tutto può succedere 3, a Rai television series. He then moved to Cuba to attend a specialized course in Art Direction, Costumes, and Set Design at the EICTV (International School of Film and Television of San Antonio de los Baños). After returning to Italy, he further honed his skills in the world of tailoring, working with the prestigious Tirelli Costumes.
Following this, he participated in various productions as a costume assistant and later advanced to the role of Assistant Costume Designer. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned Italian costume designers such as Alessandro Lai, Roberto Chiocchi, Carlo Poggioli, Monica Saracchini and Angelo Poretti.
