George Millar(I)

George Millar, an immigrant from Northern Ireland was a co-founder of Irish/Canadian folk group, The Irish Rovers. As well as being a songwriter and actor, he was a co-host of The Irish Rovers Show, The Rovers Comedy House, Party with the Rovers, as well as several television Specials. Millar is also the owner of Rover Records, an indie record label that records in both Ireland and Canada.

We went on the show and sang, Whiskey You're the Devil. There were these little five-year-olds sitting on the floor in front of us. Of course the switchboards lit up.
