Avery Looser

Avery Looser is a writer, director, and producer with a focus on female-led narratives in front of and behind the camera. Her personal work has been recognized by NFFTY, SXSW, and HollyShorts, while her branded and documentary works have been featured on ABC and CBS. Her screenplays have been recognized by the Scriptation Showcase, Humanitas Prize, ScreenCraft, and Sundance Institute as a second-round finalist for the Development Track. Avery is the founder of BraveMouse LLC, a media company focused on empowering women in front of and behind the camera, which launched in October 2020. She is a proud alumna of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Kanbar Institute of Film and Television, earning her BFA in Film and Television with a Minor in Producing as a University Scholar and Summa Cum Laude.
