Jeff Alpert, who was raised in Boston and Miramar, FL finally settling in Tampa, is an American "actor" and we use that term loosely hence the quotation marks because in his 35-year attempt to succeed in the creative arts, specifically TV, film and writing, he has for the most part, failed miserably. He had minimal success as an extra in the mid '90's in which he appeared in TV shows like Seinfeld, Beverly Hills 90210 and Melrose Place and feature films like "I Love Trouble" with Julia Roberts but has been mostly used as the extra with his back to the camera. A director was once heard saying, "He has one of the best back of the heads in the business." Alperts best production is his daughter Hannah who enjoys hearing Dad tell stories of his days on the set of 90210 as the guy behind the guy, beside the guy or in front of the guy...or girl. Alpert's only credited acting role before "Soulmates" was on the film Lumiere and Company (the part directed by David Lynch) but he couldn't even get that right as he is credited under the name Jeffe Alperi, a name he has never used. Alpert says he could have given them that name because he does admit to possibly having a few too many shots of George Clooney's tequila before the shoot. Alpert did make a lasting impression on David Lynch, though, as Lynch was reported saying, "I'll never work with that guy again." Didn't say it was a good impression but let's focus on the positive - Alpert was noticed and finally on the map! The one actual bright spot in Alpert's career is a screenplay he has written that we promise is much more entertaining and funnier than this biography. An industry heavyweight...OK his mom who has read it said that if it was made into a movie and she had already watched everything on Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, YouTube and public access TV...twice...then she would definitely maybe watch it. And since Alpert has no agent, manager, publicist or "people" he can be contacted directly through himself. Which is why he wrote his own biography.
