Kuwaarjeet Chopraa

Kuwaarjeet Chopraa is an Indian actor and film producer. His recent film was in contention for the 2025 Academy Awards for Best Picture and Best Original Score. Chopraa trained under Barry John and worked extensively in theatre, honing his craft under the mentorship of acclaimed writer and poet Gulzar. He studied Engineering in Lucknow and earned his MBA from Loyola College, Chennai, before pursuing his passion for cinema in Mumbai. He comes from a family with a strong creative legacy. His paternal grandfather, U. N. Chopra, was a director, while his great-grandfather, Padma Bhushan Krishan Chander, was a prolific novelist, short-story writer and film producer whose work inspired numerous films. Chopraa is now expanding his presence in UK and international cinema.
