Vladimir Vidic

Vladimir Vidic is a Serbian film producer and editor. His production company Dart film focuses on working with emerging talented filmmakers of the younger generation, hoping to form a new creative wave in the regional film industry. Dart film has till now produced and co-produced several feature films, short films, and documentaries which were screened at various domestic and international festivals (Berlinale, Cannes, Rotterdam FF, Locarno FF, New York Film Festival, Mar del Plata, Sarajevo FF, Cottbus, FEST etc.) with one of the shorts being nominated for the European Film Awards in 2015. Production and co-production films are supported by Eurimages and Creative Europe MEDIA. Two of the co-production films won Silver Bears Awards at Berlinale in 2019 and 2023. Vladimir also has 20 years of experience in TV production and post production management, working on the largest British licensed TV formats such as the Got Talent Adria and X Factor Adria franchises and several TV Series made by US studios for USA TV Networks. As an editor he works on a feature films, TV series, TV commercials and other audio-visual forms. Among other seminars and workshops, he participated in a BBC Training and Development workshop on creating news and TV programs and British Council and BBC Research and Development workshops about new OBM broadcast technologies. He is a member of EFA (European Film Academy) and UFPS (Association of Serbian Film Producers). He lives and works in Belgrade, Serbia.
