Biography

Sofie Nesanelis is a proud member of the Actor's Equity Association, known for her work on stage and screen. Sofie has appeared as Harvest Girl in the ensemble of the US tour of Les Miserables. She also understudied the roles of Little Cosette and Young Eponine. Previously, Sofie has been seen as Cindy Lou Who in two National Tours of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the Musical, as well as in The Sound of Music (Gretl). She also appeared in the off-broadway production of Wedding Band (Princess), which recently won the Audelco award for Best Revival of a Play. On screen, you can see Sofie in Greet Your Demons (2022), Blood Harvest (2021) and You Matter (2021). Sofie was a semi-finalist in the 2023 Hal Leonard Vocal Competition. She is represented by Bonnie Shumofsky at Stewart Talent and managed by Leorah Haberfield at Bohemia Group.
