- Egil Hagen was born on August 29, 1912 in Norway. He was an actor and writer, known for Flukt fra paradiset (1953), Et spøkelse forelsker seg (1946) and Hans Nielsen Hauge (1961). He died on July 29, 2004 in Jar, Norway.
- In 1950, he wrote the Norwegian lyrics of the French song "C'est si bon" which was written in 1947 by André Hornez (lyrics) and Henri Betti (music). The song was recorded by Aage Braarud.
