He studied language in school and found Latin to be quite challenging. But he passed his exams and now in 2003 is taking a year off to travel around Europe to find inspiration. In his honor Robert P. Olsson created the title "dialogue master" to fit his incredible talent in language. His older brother is Björn-Erik Karlsson.

He is closely related to the liberal Prime minister Karl Staaff who ruled Sweden through the years of 1905-1906 and 1911-1914.

He started in his early teens with role playing games. Like many others he found the famous "Dungeons and Dragons" to be a great game. In his role-playing group you could find his brother Björn-Erik Karlsson and Daniel Antonsson, Joakim Bengtsson, Robert P. Olsson and Sebastian Bengtsson.
