- Richard Howard Silverman is an American film and television producer, writer, and entertainment executive. He originated the story for and served as an executive producer of We Are Your Friends, starring Zac Efron, Emily Ratajkowski and Wes Bentley. Produced by Working Title Films and StudioCanal, the film was distributed domestically by Warner Bros.
Silverman was a producer of My Dead Friend Zoe, the veteran-centered dark comedy-drama starring Sonequa Martin-Green, Natalie Morales, Ed Harris and Morgan Freeman. The film premiered at the 2024 SXSW Film & TV Festival, where it received an Audience Award, and was subsequently released theatrically.
He is the founder of ReCre8 Entertainment and a longtime advisor to Legion M. Before concentrating on film and television, Silverman held senior executive positions in hospitality, gaming, live entertainment, and destination development, including serving as President and Co-CEO of Grand Sierra Resort and Casino.
