Born in Malaysia and raised in the American South, Teck was shaped by an unconventional upbringing. She taught herself English through music and storytelling, eventually turning to acting and directing as a way to reclaim her voice and identity. She is known for her role as Elyse in Don't Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carson Story (2021), performing her own stunts in RideShare (2021) and starring in Thomas Rhett's music video Slow Down Summer (2021).
