Biography

Abraham Pons is a film editor, producer, and filmmaker with over two decades of experience in the film industry. His career began in childhood as a theater and television actor, appearing in iconic Mexican productions such as Carrusel (1989) and El Abuelo y Yo (1993). His passion for cinema was sparked after acting in Tiempo Cautivo (1992), a student film directed by Rafael Illescas.

He graduated as a Film Director from the Instituto Cinematográfico Lumière in 2002. Since then, he has worked in television, film, and digital platforms. As part of editorial teams, he has contributed to high-profile productions such as the series La Máquina (2024) and the documentary 13:14 El reto de ayudar (2022).

Abraham has also developed and led independent projects, such as the short film Inercia (2014), which he directed, edited, and produced. In La irónica muerte de Lorenzo Mokai (2019), he served as producer, editor, and lead actor.

Proficient in editing platforms such as Avid Media Composer and Final Cut Pro X, Abraham is a versatile and collaborative editor. He blends technical precision with visual storytelling, bringing creative value to each project he joins, while maintaining a deep passion for cinema.
