Biography

Yelisey Kazakevich is an award-winning actor and filmmaker based in New York City. He made his feature film debut in Marc Forster’s "White Bird" alongside Helen Mirren and Gillian Anderson, and has continued to appear across both studio and independent film. He spent the majority of his childhood acting on stage, having developed a passion for storytelling by the age of ten, prior to transitioning to on-screen work. Since then he has appeared in over 50 short films, as well as major studio work for Lionsgate and Warner Bros. Discovery.

His formal acting training includes The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York University Tisch, and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. He earned his BSc in Film & Television from Boston University as a director/producer, and his work as a filmmaker has screened at festivals across the world.

In 2022 he founded "11C Productions", an independent film production company, and since 2025 he has been directing commercials and branded content as a director/cinematographer duo "Taste" with the acclaimed director of photography Andy Bae.
