Juwan Haynes is an American actor, former professional football player, and dedicated youth advocate known for bringing grounded strength and emotional depth to his work.
Born in Norfolk, Virginia, and raised primarily in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Juwan developed his discipline and competitive edge through sports at an early age. He went on to play Division I football at the University of Toledo, earning a degree in Communications before continuing his career professionally in the National Arena League and the Austrian Football League. In 2021, he earned All-Star honors and was able to showcase his skills with NFL organizations including the Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, and Atlanta Falcons.
His journey, however, extends far beyond athletics. After experiencing homelessness earlier in his life, Juwan developed a deep commitment to advocacy and service. Today, he is a vocal supporter of the homeless community, Black communities, and underprivileged youth, dedicating his time to mentorship and faith-driven outreach designed to instill confidence, discipline, and purpose in the next generation.
Before fully transitioning into acting, Juwan worked in the fitness and wellness industry as a personal trainer and general manager while coaching high school athletes. His holistic approach emphasizes mental, physical, and spiritual growth.
On screen, Juwan has appeared in Madden (directed by David O. Russell), All American, LA Undercover, The Void, and The Fight, along with more than ten national commercial campaigns. With a background in stunts, stage combat, and multiple sports, he brings physical authenticity and emotional nuance to his performances.
