Tino De La Huerta is a Mexican writer and director known for a raw, visually driven cinematic language, his work explores identity, violence, faith, migration and the human stories that emerge from fractured social environments. His films combine emotional realism with a powerful and distinctive visual approach.
In 2013, he received international recognition at Cannes for his work as a director. Throughout his career, he has directed campaigns and films for global brands including Nike, Coca-Cola, Red Bull, GMC, Amnesty International, Chelsea FC, LaLiga and Google.
He studied Economics at Bocconi University in Milan and Media Studies at The New School in New York. During his time in New York, he worked at VICE Media, developing his experience in storytelling, culture and digital content.
He is currently focused on film and television and has completed his debut feature film, Clanes de Dios, a crime thriller set in Madrid.
