Jenny Martel is a New York City-based SAG-AFTRA/AEA actor with a sharp, commanding presence and a knack for bringing complex women to life-whether powerful, unraveling, or quietly dangerous. With recent momentum in independent film, over the past 15 months she has appeared in nine independent films in leading and supporting roles, with multiple projects heading to the festival circuit.

A veteran of more than 100 stage productions, her work includes ’night, Mother and Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All for You, showcasing her ease with heightened language and her ability to pivot seamlessly between biting comedy and grounded drama.

Her recent work spans a striking range-from corporate raiders to vulnerable mothers, alcoholics with heart, and deceptive assassins-bringing intelligence, humor, and unpredictability to each role.
