Zara Goodman is an English-Papua New Guinean writer, director, producer, and actress, and the founder of GenZara Productions, an independent film and television company that tells stories exploring truth, beauty, and the resilience of the human spirit.

Raised across Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands before moving to Australia, Zara brings a unique global perspective to her craft. Her acting credits include "This Little Love of Mine" (Jaggi Entertainment), "Kidnapped" (Jaggi Entertainment), "Socially Distant" (13th Street Films), "Apples Never Fall" (Peacock), "Shin Splints" (The General Public Productions), and her own short film POC "Haunted Housemates" (GenZara Productions). Haunted Housemates blends dark comedy and cultural commentary into an irreverent coming-of-age story, establishing Zara as an emerging auteur with a distinct voice and vision.
