Hailing from Nigeria, Imole's upbringing was shaped by the resilience instilled in her by her single mother and the vibrant tapestry of her extended family. When her mother embarked on a new chapter in Canada, Imole's own adventure led her to Calgary, Alberta, where she reunited with her family and embraced a new culture.

While studying in Nigeria, Imole's innate analytical and creative talents caught the attention of a professor who suggested engineering as a potential career path. Imole's pursuit of this field in Canada presented its challenges, but her determination to succeed propelled her forward, bridging the gap between the tropical warmth of Nigeria and the bitter cold of Canada. Imole's journey took a pivotal turn when she seized the opportunity to create short church announcement videos, unaware that it would ignite her passion for storytelling and filmmaking. Embracing this newfound love, Imole delved into the intricacies of video production and scriptwriting, ultimately giving birth to Lumiere Films. Driven by her vision to spread positivity through her work, Imole's diverse experiences serve as the foundation for narratives that resonate deeply with audiences. Her commitment to excellence was recognized when she premiered three award-winning short films in 2023, captivating audiences in Houston, Texas, and Calgary, Alberta. One of the films went ahead to be finalist in Essence Film Festival in 2024. Imole now resides in Houston, Texas with her husband, Anthony Ladipo, and their three children, including twins, as she gears up for her next ambitious project, "What Happens Now." With her unwavering passion and determination, Imole is poised to make an indelible mark in the world of filmmaking once again.
